Nano urea is a urea embedded in an organic matrix with the size of 20-50 nano meters. It is potentially over 1000-fold more effective than regular urea. A 500 ml of nano urea can replace 50 Kg of regular urea.
Nano urea solution is applied through foliar means and it can easily penetrate through cell wall or through the leaf stomatal pores. After entering the plant, they are transported to plant parts via phloem cell, plasmodesmata or can bind to carrier proteins through aquaporin, ion channels and endocytosis. Thousands of field trials in multiple countries prove that nano urea is very effective and can change the outlook on nitrogenous fertilizer use in the world.
